Only certain types of Speciality contractors are licensed in the State of New Hampshire, construction work is regulated. Every contractor is required to pass the OSHA exam. Out of State Corporations working in New Hampshire must be registered by the Secretary of State. You may also call (603) 271-3246.  Contractors should check with the county they desire to perform work about liability insurance requirements. Workers' Compensation Insurance is another requirement of the state, to inquire further check with the New Hampshire Department of Labor, 1-800-272-4353.
